Your Story:
Leonard Peltier has been serving 34 years in Federal Prison for a crime he did not commit. I am sure you are familiar with his situation. I am writing on behalf of him and the Leonard Peltier Defense/Offense Committee. Leonard was just awarded the 2009 Humanitarian Award from the Red Nation Film Festival. Because he has a giving heart he would like to start a benefit to include many artists, nationwide, for the "Artists for Haiti Children's Benefit". What we are looking for is someone to sponsor the show. One of Leonard's lawyers has worked with the Haitian Government in the past and he will be looking for a credible organization that we can donate the proceeds to.
Leonard is very sympathetic to this disaster, especially because of the children involved. Leonard has always had a big heart for children because he has always been a humanitarian by heart.
