Mother's Day Programming

Women and Wellness: Honoring Our Mothers: Features interviews and conversations with Native American mothers and daughters about the medical problems as well as the healing that is going on in Indian communities.

We will also be playing music all Mother's Day (5/11) long that honors mothers, grandmothers as well as all the strong Native women that have helped make our Native communities better places to live.

Recognizing Those Who Served

This Armed Force Day (5/17), we honor Native men and women serving in all the different branches of the U.S. Military.

We also set aside time on Memorial Day (5/26) to honor in song those who have given the supreme sacrifice.

Also, tune in all month long, for a documentary that looks at Native women who have served in the military.
